As soon as we arrived in Beirut, the civil war flared up again. we were moved to the northern city of Jounieh to avoid the shelling of Beirut. After a week, the English army evacuated us per helicopter to Cyprus.

SDH/PDH network acceptance & troubleshooting for TRANSCO (Toshiba).
Upgrading Network Management of Etisalat PDH network used mostly for leased lines.
Acceptance of PDH system at water pump/injection stations of ADNOC in the Adu Dhabi dessert.
OMAN
Muscat, Oman
2008-2009: Assisting Al-Asateen with SDH/PDH network for Oman Petroleum Development Company.
Muscat is sparsely populated city in the Omani mountains.
Iran
Teheran, Iran
2009 - 2012. Three mission, assisting local agent ELMATCO with Implementation of SDH/PDH access network for IPDC/IGMC. Primary PCM & STM4.
While the agent's personal were very accommodating and helpful, IGMC auditors were behaving hostile in many cases.
Qatar
Doha, Qatar
2010 - 2014. A number of missions to implementation/accept PDH access systems for Qatar Petroleum.
Most of the sites were located in the Ras Laffan industrial city, Qatar's main site for production of liquefied natural gas and gas-to-liquid. This required a daily commute from Doha.
